A couple of problems this week -
First, Monday I did a few Devon Opencaches (had one DNF but a good day's caching, and placed one near Hart Tor on Dartmoor. I then went and put the wrong coordinates on the cache page. The cache was searched for, and not surprisingly not found. Since corrected.
Second, and more serious, Wednesday 16:20 : the local telephone exchange lost its internet connectivity - OC UK was unreachable. It took some 30 hours to get fixed. I've had very little trouble with the internet connection since signing up on this line in January 2005. It just had to happen when OC UK is trying to establish.
Oh! and Wednesday, saw the first 'cache recommendation' occur. Once a cacher has found ten caches, and every ten thereafter, the cacher can 'recommend' one cache as being outstandingly good. The accolade went to Gribben's cache The Towering Cliffs (2009)

GeoKrets are free, all you provide is the trackable item and a permanent label with the site URL and tracking code on.
Accounts are not obligatory to log GeoKrety into and out of caches.
